Former name: Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Physical Therapy Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. It was established along with the Faculty of Medicine as announced in the Royal Gazette on October 6, 1972. It opened for the first year of medical students in 1973, with the department office at the Faculty of Engineering until 1982. The department office has been moved to the 1st floor.
