Prince of Songkla University


  Former name: Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Physical Therapy Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. It was established along with the Faculty of Medicine as announced in the Royal Gazette on October 6, 1972. It opened for the first year of medical students in 1973, with the department office at the Faculty of Engineering until 1982. The department office has been moved to the 1st floor. Orthopedic building Songklanagarind Hospital and teaching and learning are organized and patient service until now 


     Orthopedic field Faculty of Medicine Prince of Songkla University Responsible for providing education at both pre-graduate and post-graduate levels.

     pre-graduate level Doctor of Medicine curriculum, Health, Disease and Orthopedic Rehabilitation course for 5th year medical students and Orthopedic practice course for medical student practicing medicine (Extern)

     Post-graduate level Training is provided in two parallel courses: the Advanced Graduate Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences. Orthopedics and resident doctor training courses for certificates showing knowledge and expertise in practicing medicine. Orthopedics branch Faculty of Medicine Prince of Songkla University The goal is to organize teaching and learning to produce expert doctors with expertise in the field of orthopedics, knowledge, ability, morality, and ethics according to professional standards. Considering the benefits of fellow human beings is duty number one.   • Outpatient services Providing general care services for orthopedic and joint patients and there are specialized clinics to care for patients with complex hand and sports injuries. Spine, Children, Artificial Joint Replacement and bone tumors

  • Inpatient services To serve patients who need rehabilitation treatment in hospitals Orthopedic surgery of all levels of complexity By medical professors who are experts in all fields.

  • Emergency patient services We are ready to receive emergency orthopedic patients in all conditions at all times.
